Summer SOLstice Auction 2011

Our latest auction was a fantastic success raising a grand total of £1500.

The beneficiary of the auction was a special friend of SOL: Mary of Dungarvan Kennels in Ireland.

 
Mary was the first to set up a rescue in her area of Ireland where animal welfare was non-existent. This was in 1987. You can read the story here: http://dungarvanresc...rg/DUNTEXT.html

Although Mary takes in all breeds, she has only Greyhounds and Lurchers at present. Times are hard everywhere but particularly so in Ireland where rescues are struggling. So a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to this auction helping SOL to raise funds to help with the care of the sighthounds that are flooding into Mary's rescue.
