Alan
Alan was rehomed by us 8 years ago, to a family. Alan was living happily with the family until 6 months ago when their working hours changed meaning Alan was being left alone for 8 - 9 hours a day.
The family are not able to go home at all during the day to let Alan out/walk him. So, understandably, after so many years of having company during the day, Alan is not happy being left alone for such long hours everyday.
Alan is a lovely, friendly, affectionate boy who loves human company. He walks very well on the lead & takes no notice of other dogs he see's when out on a walk.
As you can see from the picture, Alan loves to sit in an armchair!. |
Vi
Vi is very timid with strangers but she is a very friendly, happy girl with people she knows. Vi's favourite place is on the sofa if she gets the chance - the only way of getting her off the sofa is with a tasty treat!!.
Vi used to share her kennel with 'Trigger' (see his story on front page) & they got on very well together - Trigger would always snuggle up with Vi with his head on her & his legs all over the place.....Vi never minded, even though often she'd get his foot in her face!!.
Vi would be best in a home where there is another dog to help with her confidence. |
